February 6 has no owner yet

On February 6, 1952, King George VI of the United Kingdom died and his eldest daughter, Princess Elizabeth, who was in Kenya, was proclaimed Queen Elizabeth II. At 25, she became the youngest sovereign of the country in more than a century. Her reign of 70 years, 7 months and 2 days was the longest in British history. She died on September 8, 2022 aged 96.

On February 6, 1945, musician Bob Marley was born in Kingston, Jamaica — he who popularised reggae worldwide and became the greatest cultural ambassador of Jamaica and the Rastafari movement. His albums Exodus and Catch a Fire revolutionised global popular music. Marley died of cancer in 1981 at age 36, but his musical legacy lives on across the planet.

On February 6, 1958, the charter plane carrying the Manchester United squad crashed at Munich airport while attempting to take off for the third time with ice on the wings. Twenty-three of the 44 occupants died, including footballers Roger Byrne, Duncan Edwards and Tommy Taylor. The Munich air disaster is one of the most tragic events in European football history.
