November 28 belongs to Xavi

On November 28, 1912, Albania declared independence from the Ottoman Empire in the city of Vlorë, during the Congress of Vlorë. The movement's leader, Ismail Qemali, raised the flag with the double-headed eagle, a national symbol since the fifteenth century. Albania was the last Balkan country to gain independence from the Ottoman Empire.

On November 28, 1943, Churchill, Roosevelt and Stalin met in Tehran at the first conference of the three Allied leaders — the Tehran Conference. There they agreed on the opening of the Western Front in France (D-Day) and sketched out the post-war division of the world, laying the foundations of the new international order that would emerge at the war's end.

On November 28, 1967, radio astronomer Jocelyn Bell discovered the first known pulsar in history by detecting regular pulsing radio signals from space. Scientists jokingly called the mysterious object LGM-1 (Little Green Men). In 1974, the Nobel Prize in Physics was awarded for this discovery — without including Bell herself.
