November 10 has no owner yet

On November 10, 1918, Marshal Józef Piłsudski arrived in Warsaw and assumed command of the Polish state, restoring the independence of Poland after 123 years of occupation by neighbouring powers. The rebirth of Poland was made possible by the simultaneous defeat of the German, Russian and Austro-Hungarian empires at the end of World War I.

On November 10, 1975, Angola proclaimed independence from Portugal after fifteen years of liberation war, becoming one of the last African countries to decolonise. However, on independence day a bloody civil war simultaneously broke out between rival movements MPLA, FNLA and UNITA, backed by foreign powers, which lasted until 2002.

On November 10, 1871, Welsh journalist Henry Morton Stanley found Scottish explorer and physician David Livingstone in Ujiji, on the shores of Lake Tanganyika, after months of searching through the interior of Africa. The encounter, famous for the line "Dr. Livingstone, I presume", captured the world's imagination and symbolised European exploration of the African continent.
